Jason Gewirtz
Jason Gewirtz is the author of “Israel’s Edge: The Story of the IDF’s Most Elite Unit – Talpiot.” He is also an executive producer for the business network CNBC. He currently produces Power Lunch. In 2006 he covered the Second Lebanon War from Northern Israel for the network. He also followed Warren Buffett as the billionaire investor purchased Israeli metal-working firm ISCAR. Gewirtz also has covered the economic damage to southern Israel for CNBC brought on by attacks from the Gaza Strip. He also produced “Beyond the Barrel” – a documentary heavily focused on Israeli alternative energy companies.
