The Tower’s photographer ventures into the Palestinian city of Bethlehem, where behind the violent façade he discovers remnants of a great Christian past.

Yet it’s also been the epitome of harmony and tranquility in the minds of millions. Today, this small town still manages to draw more than its fair share of dangerous unrest, but still it offers itself as a symbol of hope and peace.
