Two car-ramming attacks were reported in the West Bank, The Times of Israel reported Tuesday. The driver in one attack was killed and the driver in the second one was arrested.

The two apparently unrelated incidents come just two days after a pregnant woman and six others were wounded in a drive-by terror attack near the West Bank community of Ofra, just north of Jerusalem.

The woman is recovering at Jerusalem’s Shaarei Tzedek hospital and is reported to have regained consciousness. The condition of the baby, who was delivered two months early by emergency C-section, has deteriorated and he is said to be fighting for his life.

In one car-ramming attack that took place in the town of Idhna, near Hebron, a car drove through a checkpoint and then crashed into a security vehicle. The driver then “accelerated toward a Border Police officer,” and other officers fired at the car, killing the driver. The driver was identified as 27-year-old Omar Hassan al-Awawdeh.

In a separate incident, a drive aimed his car at Israeli border guards, who were protecting an operation to demolish illegally built structures in a village in the northern Jordan Valley.

When the troops fired into the air, the driver stopped and was arrested. He was later transferred to the Shin Bet for questioning.

The IDF is still seeking the perpetrators of Sunday night’s shooting.

The army said in a statement, ” The IDF will continue to act until the terrorists are captured and security is restored to residents.”

In October, a Palestinian shot and killed two workers at the Barkan Industrial Park. He remains at-large.
