More than 200,000 specialty foods and beverages will be displayed to the trade at the 2019 Summer Fancy Foods Show at the Javits Center in Manhattan June 23-25.
Several Israeli companies will be among 2,600 exhibitors from around the globe.
Rosh Pina-based Wine Water will offer samples of O.Vine Essence Water — alcohol-free premium water infused with antioxidant-rich Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon wine-grape essence extracted from the skin and seeds of sustainably grown grapes harvested in the Galilee for wine making. Last year, O.Vine received the “Best New Water” concept award at the Global Bottled Water Congress in Evian, France.
The Mushroom Benefit of Netanya is rolling out Cuisine Bags — mesh sachets containing a sugar-free, all-natural blend of exotic mushrooms (principally shiitake and black truffle) and natural seasonings to flavor savory stews, soups, sauces or marinades without powdered soup stock. The bags, available in Asian, Italian and Classic flavors, are made of biodegradable corn fiber.
The Mushroom Benefit also will introduce Umamis Crunchy Snacks, containing a combo of all-natural king oyster mushrooms and corn to give it a crispy puffed texture. The zero trans-fat, plant-based product contains no cholesterol, sugar, artificial flavoring or coloring.
Importer Fruit of the Land will display Israeli gourmet products such as Gideon Springs Avocado Blossom Honey and Gideon Springs 100% natural silan (date honey); Ceremonie tea blends and herbal infusions; 424 Dead Sea Salt Gourmet Collection; and Tishbi Orange-Cabernet Preserves created from award-winning Tishbi Estate Cabernet wine and fresh Israeli oranges.
Another of the Israeli exhibitors will be Sindyanna of Galilee, an award-winning maker of fair trade, extra-virgin olive oils as well as olive-oil soaps, honey, almonds and za’atar spice mix.
