Recent videos show a stark contrast between the values embraced by Hamas and those embraced by Israel. A video published last week by Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) shows Hamas leader Mohammed Deif promoting death as a value favored by Hamas.

PMW recorded Deif’s statement, “”Today you [Israelis] are fighting divine soldiers, who love death for Allah like you love life, and who compete among themselves for Martyrdom like you flee from death.” The video is embedded below. The statement was broadcast on Hamas’ Al Aqsa television network, which the U.S. government designates as a terrorist organization. The video also rebroadcast Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh saying, “We love death like our enemies love life!”

PMW has documented that Hamas preaches the value of death starting from a young age. A video from May on Al Aqsa television shows a boy saying, “We love the resistance. We want to die as martyrs. Long live the martyrs.”

In contrast, a video from last week shows how a kindergarten teacher in Israel had trained the students in her care to quickly go to a protected area when a siren went off.

A few weeks earlier, a video that went viral showed a song composed by an Israel teacher to help young children cope with the trauma of living in range of terror rockets.
