Hezbollah supporters rode their motorcycles near the border with Israel, in a show of defiance against the Jewish State, The Jerusalem Post reported Sunday. The demonstration prompted the IDF to declare that Hezbollah was “making a mockery” of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701, which ended the 2006 war between Israel and the Iran-backed terrorist organization.

According to the Post, approximately 60 motorcyclists rode through the streets of southern Lebanon. The riders told The Daily Star that they were riding “cross motorbikes, which the party has used before for military resistance operations.”
One of the riders promised Hezbollah that “if you want us on cross [motorbikes], then we are at your service.”
He further said that the riders were showing their support for Hezbollah’s leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah and that their slogan was “to Jerusalem on millions of cross bikes.”
The bikers’ demonstration took place as Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon was leading a tour of a terror tunnel built by Hezbollah to UN ambassadors.
Dozens of #UN ambassadors saw first-hand a result of Iran's terror financing: Hezbollah terror tunnels into #Israel. This fight is not just a military one, but also diplomatic. The Security Council must designate Hezbollah as a terrorist organization. pic.twitter.com/0N1vk3u97f

Danon later recounted that the 40 ambassadors who accompanied him were “shocked,” when seeing the attack tunnels on Israel’s border with Lebanon.
“It is crucial to understand it because in the UN we speak a lot about Hezbollah, we speak about Iran funding Hezbollah in Lebanon, but there they actually saw Hezbollah on the other side of the border, they saw the tunnels, they saw the violation of Security Council Resolution 1701,” Danon explained to i24NEWS.
Prior to their flight to northern Israel, the ambassadors met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“Iran has many branches, one of them is Hezbollah, which has now joined the Lebanese government. This is a misleading description — Hezbollah actually controls the Lebanese government and this means that Iran controls the Lebanese government,” Netanyahu explained to the ambassadors. “It is important to convey this powerful message — just as we prevented the terror tunnels from reaching Israel, we will thwart any aggression from Lebanon, Syria or Iran itself … We are committed to preventing this aggression and thus we are protecting not only Israel but also our neighbors and the peace of the entire world.”
